The low-waste habits go beyond trash. It’s a story about what we collectively value.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization

To inspire, educate, and activate individuals to dramatically reduce their plastic and trash footprint and to create sustainable and mindful habits.

Our Strategy:

We take a whole-lifestyle approach with our education programs and campaigns, which engage individuals, families, and local communities together to rethink and rebuild consumer and lifestyle habits and to activate personal power and personal empowerment to address growing environmental impacts.

Our Core Values:

  • Community
  • Commitment
  • Compassion

How we engage individuals:

We provide inspiring and engaging on-ramps for individuals to make personal lifestyle choices that drastically reduce their household trash and plastic consumption and to create more meaningful lifestyle habits through simplification, resourcefulness, and ingenuity while creating positive impacts on their local communities and ecosystems.

Program Goals:

Our programs are designed as on-ramps to inspire, educate and activate participants, while producing multiple benefits (environmental, social, and economic) at the personal and local level in the communities in which they operate, as well as at the global level.

To that end, our programs focus on:

  1. Developing easy and accessible methods for dramatically reducing household trash and plastics.
  2. Sharing practical resources and tools for living simply and reducing overconsumption.
  3. Inspiring individuals to adopt zero-waste friendly lifestyles as their own.

What People are Saying:

“Andrea is so knowledgable, helpful, and enlightening. Being able to see how she does it by being in her home was so eye opening to how easy it can be! I love that she does take it to the extreme so we can see that it IS possible if you have enough passion for it. I would highly recommend taking her class to anyone who is interested in this lifestyle. She makes it so easy and so fun!”
— Trisha Lopez, Casper, Wyoming
“Andrea’s class made me realize you can live this lifestyle, on almost any budget, and there are different levels you can start at to reduce your trash. She made it simple and accessible, it does not feel like a lifestyle that is beyond means or difficult to achieve.”
— Erin Schol, Boulder, Colorado
